2025 Full-term Program Application: Open now!

The 2025 Full-Term program runs from January 15th, 2025 through November 21st, 2025.

Contact Danielle Plumlee, AmeriCorps Program Director, with questions or for more information.

Tips for applicants:

  • This application must be filled out in one sitting. There is no save option. Please read through the entire form and prepare your answers before filling out the application.

  • Please note there is an essay question as part of the application.

  • The Lakes Region Conservation Corps is an AmeriCorps program with host sites across the New Hampshire Lakes Region. Each host site operates independently and provides a different conservation service experience. You are asked to rank your host site preference in the application below.

  • The LRCC program is a way to gain meaningful experience in the conservation field, so we aren't necessarily looking for members that come with a wealth of experience in the field. Generally, we look for individuals who can demonstrate that they can work hard, are enthusiastic, get along well with a group, can work independently and collaboratively, and are interested and committed to serving the community through the environmental conservation initiatives of Lakes Region non-profits. We expect candidates to clearly articulate how the LRCC experience relates to their future goals.

  • Applicants are judged on their ability to demonstrate enthusiasm for conservation work and dedication to the mission of the LRCC program. The certifications, skills, and experiences listed in the application have varying degrees of relevance to each host site and in many cases may be completely irrelevant to one or more host sites. Not having the certifications, skills, or experiences listed does not diminish the competitiveness of your application.

  • Do not submit multiple applications. If your preferences change, please contact Danielle Plumlee with any changes.
