Developing skills and experience for conservation professionals.

Conservation Corps members are the driving force behind the Lakes Region’s conservation efforts. The program provides hands-on conservation work experience and numerous certifications over a broad range of areas.

AmeriCorps Week: March 9-15

We want to highlight and celebrate all the service that our Full Term AmeriCorps Members have already done and will do throughout the year. So far, LRCC members have been walking and skiing on the lake to their water quality sample sites and manually drilling holes through up to 22 inches of ice to better understand lake health. They have led volunteer trail maintenance days, participated in trainings, and led numerous educational events. We are so grateful for all the service they do with the Lakes Region Conservation Corps. Check out some video interviews here.
